“Dr. Humphrey and his staff went above and beyond to get to the cause and find a treatment when our Max was suffering from food allergies. They worked with us and followed up until we found the best way to treat Max. Now, he’s back to his fun and spunky self. We’ve found the staff at Ballantyne Veterinary Clinic every bit as caring and responsive as our children’s pediatricians.”

Jennifer Miller

owner of standard poodle, Max

“From the minute you walk in the door, Dr. Humphrey and his staff make you feel like you and your pet are their most important clients. They are very accommodating and helpful. I always appreciate how Marie and Cenie will follow up to check on my cats after their visits. The whole staff really bends over backwards and shows that they care.”

Julie Vona

cat owner and rescuer

“I feel very comfortable taking Riley to Ballantyne Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Humphrey looks out for both the pet and the owner. I know when he suggests a treatment that there is a reason for it and he is looking for the best targeted way of helping Riley. He doesn’t order unnecessary tests or treatments…only things that have the best chance of taking care of my dog.”

Ed Lewis

owner of Riley, year and a half old Labrador retriever mix

“Dr. Humphrey is a knowledgeable professional who takes great care of my dogs, but through taking such good care of them, we have come to consider him a friend of the family. Every time we go in for a visit, we have a positive and reassuring experience. The office is consistently spotless and the staff is always upbeat and interested in our well-being. We couldn’t be happier with Ballantyne Veterinary Clinic.”

Tricia Arbour

owner of Furbee, 2-year-old Chihuahua mix rescue, and Louie, full bred, long-haired Chihuahua

“Dr. Humphrey always provides outstanding personal service. Once when I was traveling out of state with my pets, my dog Louie developed a bad cough. I became concerned and called the office. Dr. Humphrey asked me to take a video of Louie coughing and then send it to Dr. Humphrey’s personal phone. Within moments, he got back in touch with me and instructed me how to keep Louie comfortable and reassured me that everything was fine. It meant so much to have that peace of mind when we were away from home on travel.”

Tricia Arbour

owner of Furbee, 2-year-old Chihuahua mix rescue, and Louie, full bred, long-haired Chihuahua

“The thing I appreciate most about Dr. Humphrey is the personalized care that my pet receives every time. From our very first visit, Dr. Humphrey showed that he genuinely cared about Duke’s well-being in how he worked to gain his trust. Other veterinary offices have felt like a conveyor belt of dogs, but the staff of Ballantyne Veterinary Clinic genuinely cares.”

Stephanie George

owner of 3-year-old Weimaraner, Duke

“The personal service is something that really sets them apart from other vet offices. When my pet needed surgery, they not only followed up the next day, but checked in again the next week to make sure the recovery was going well. That personal touch really means a lot.”

Karen Glatzer

owner of Jack, 9-year-old Bijou

  • Spike and Griffin

    Pest Control

Spike and Griffin are both rescue cats! They are the owners of Cenie Smith! Spike is a big boned fluffy(which accounts for the extra weight) Maine Coon mix and Griffin is just a good eater! Spike considers himself to be in charge of everything, but responsible for nothing. Griffin excels in toy testing. Both are excellent taste testers for dry Royal Canin food and canned Fancy Feast. Unfortunately, we lost Griffin in February 2019. At this writing, Spike has not been able to find a worthy office assistant.
